Infrared & FM Radio Assistive
Listening Systems

Ideal for use in areas where the installation of an audio-frequency induction loop system is impractical
Modulators/radiators transmit sound via invisible light beams to one or more infrared receivers
‘Line of sight’ operation means no ‘spillover’ of the sound signal into neighbouring rooms
Ideal for persons with mild or moderate hearing loss
Special RI150/L ‘neck loop’ receiver converts the infrared signal into a mini-induction loop field that can be picked up by any hearing aid with a telecoil / ‘T’ position
Receivers also available for use by the non-hearing impaired

What will the infralight DIR headset system do for me?
The Infralight DIR Headset system is used to help you listen more clearly to your TV, radio etc. without any trailing leads across the floor. It allows you to enjoy your TV etc at your own volume without disturbing others.

How does the infralight DIR headset system work?
The Infralight Headset Listener consists of two parts, a mains powered transmitter and a receiver powered by a rechargeable battery. The transmitter picks up the sound from your TV and sends it to the headset receiver via an invisible infra red beam. As this system transmits via infra red the receiver must always be in the “line of sight” of the transmitter i.e the same way a remote control works with your TV. For this reason the transmitter is best placed either on top of or underneath your TV
