Description

The Roger NeckLoop (03) is a universal receiver compatible with any hearing aid or cochlear implant with a T-coil. It is worn around the neck on a detachable induction loop and gives access to the Roger microphone transmitter portfolio.

The neckloop is discreet, lightweight, easy to use and is accessible to any hearing aid with a Tcoil.   It can even be tucked under clothing if desired!

For those who are hard or hearing and don’t wear a hearing aid, the neckloop also offers headphone connection.

Please note – for use as a spare/replacement/addition to an existing system. Requires a Microphone Transmitter for the Roger NeckLoop to work – purchased separately.

How does it work?

The Roger Microphone clearly picks-up the voice of a speaker and sends it via radio frequency to the neckloop receiver worn by those who are hard of hearing. The hearing or “induction’ loop is created by the loop around the neck.  This creates an electromagnetic field which would be picked up by the receiver in the hearing aid.  The hearing aid then converts this back into speech sound for the user to hear.

The receiver has a simple on/off switch.   It is powered by a rechargeable battery with easy to check status displayed on the top edge, between the neckloop sockets.  The volume can easily be controlled and is displayed on the front of the device along with pairing information.  An audible beep will tell you that the microphone is not switched on or the receiver is not paired (connected) with the microphone.

Which Roger Microphones does this connect to?

Please note that Roger Neckloop (03) receivers are not compatible with the Roger Basestation, Roger Touchscreen Mic, Roger Inspiro, Pass around Mic or Roger Soundfield.  Please see the Roger Neckloop (02) that will connect to the full range.

Neither neckloop is compatible with any generation of SmartLink, ZoomLink, EasyLink or non-premium inspiro transmitters.

What is Roger Technology?

FAQ

Which Hearing Aids is this compatible with?

The Roger Neckloop (03) is compatible with any hearing aid or cochlear implant with a Telecoil or ‘T’ Setting.

Who can use the neckloop?

It is suitable to be worn by adults, students and children above 8 years old who are hard of hearing.

I don’t use hearing aids.  Can I still use a neckloop and access the hearing loop?

Yes.  The neckloop offers a 3.5mm standard jack to connect headphones.  This can be done instead of connecting to a hearing aid.

I have a pacemaker. Can I still use the Roger neckloop?

It is advised that the neckloop receiver should be at least  6” away from any pace maker. It is just a guideline however and we would recommend that you seek approval from your  cardiologist before using, giving them all the information in the product data sheet found in the “Documentation” tab.

If, having sought advice, the neckloop can-not be worn, there is an option to use the Roger X  in place of the Roger Neckloop.  This is an ear level universal receiver that fits onto an audio shoe.
