What Is Auracast™?
Auracast™ is a breakthrough wireless audio technology built on Bluetooth® Low Energy Audio (LE Audio). Unlike traditional Bluetooth, which connects to only one device at a time, Auracast enables a single audio source to broadcast sound to multiple listeners simultaneously.
How the Auri System Works
The Auri Transmitter connects to an existing PA or AV system (or directly to microphones) and broadcasts the audio via Bluetooth to Auri Receivers or any device capable of receiving an Auracast transmission.
Listeners with Auracast-enabled hearing aids can enjoy the audio directly through their devices. Those using hearing aids equipped with a traditional T-coil can connect via neckloop receivers, ensuring compatibility for everyone.
System Capabilities
The Auri transmitter delivers a broadcast range of over 100 meters under optimal conditions. Each Auri receiver offers more than 20 hours of battery life on a full charge, and there is no limit to the number of receivers that can connect to a single transmitter simultaneously.
Compatibility and Future-Proof Design
Some modern hearing aids already include built-in Auracast receivers, while all major hearing aid manufacturers are actively adopting the technology. This ensures that, over time, Auracast will become a universal standard—making the Auri system a truly future-proof solution.
In the meantime, dedicated Auri receivers can be used with neckloops to connect to hearing aids via the familiar “T-Setting.”
A Smart Addition to Existing Systems
Integrating an Auri system alongside an existing fixed induction loop is an excellent way to enhance accessibility. Rather than replacing your induction loop, the Auri system complements it—delivering a more flexible, scalable, and forward-looking audio experience for all users.
