There are a number of factors that would influence the equipment that we would recommend, including the following:

• What will the system be used for?
• Size of the room
• What audio inputs are required? Ie. Microphone, TV, projector etc
• Is there an existing PA system?
• number of people who require access to the loop
• whether hearing loops are required in adjacent rooms
• the need for privacy and confidentiality
• whether substantial amounts of metal are present in the room
• ease of and cost of installation
• budget
• ownership of the building
