Phonak Roger Tour Guide Hearing Loop System

The Roger On System is a great option for tour guides. The system includes a state of the art wireless microphone pen that transmits the sound via radio frequency to neckloops worn by those who are hard of hearing. The neckloop in turn, links to the users hearing aid sending the sound directly into their ears.

The neckloop is discreet, lightweight, easy to use and is accessible to any hearing aid with a Tcoil. It can also be used with a set of headphones (sold separately) for those who are hard of hearing but don’t wear hearing aids.

The microphone can be hung around the neck by a lanyard at which point it is in “presenter mode”, most commonly used for tour guides. However, it can also be used in a number of different ways including being placed on a surface during a meeting (table mode), pointed at the person talking if discussions are taking place or questions are being asked, and can connect to a TV, laptop, PA system or telephone. It will also automatically switch modes depending on how it is being used. The Roger On’s noise cancelling technology also lends itself to noisy environments, cancelling out background noise and focusing in on speech sounds.

The Roger On Microphone has a battery life of over 6 hours when used with a Roger Neckloop Receiver. The receivers themselves having a battery life of over 10 hours.
