The Roger TableMic II is a wireless microphone designed specifically for adults with hearing loss who attend and participate in a variety of meetings.  It is ideal for all types of meetings including noisy situations, such as large conference rooms with multiple speakers and sound coming from many directions.  This tabletop hearing aid microphone enables you to understand and fully participate in the meeting.

It has a typical range of up to 20 meters so would easily cover a large meeting room.   However, multiple Roger Table Mic II can also connect and work together in a MultiTalker Network, so you won’t miss a thing.

How does it work?

The Roger TableMic II transmitter clearly picks-up the voice of a speaker and sends it via radio frequency either directly to your Phonak Hearing Aids or to Phonak Receivers worn by those who are hard of hearing. In turn, the receiver links wirelessly to the hearing aid.

The Roger Table microphone recognises where the speech is coming from using its Multibeam 2.0 Technology. It selects the person who’s talking and switches automatically between the meeting participants.   It also adapts automatically to changing background noise, making it an ideal solution for meetings, conferences and presentations.  Thus giving outstanding speech quality even in noisy or challenging situations.

What is Roger Technology?

Roger is the exclusive wireless technology from Phonak. Its state of the art digital processing makes speech significantly clearer – automatically adjusting to enhance understanding and comprehension considerably, even in noisy situations.  By utilising multiple microphones in the device, beams are created in six directions to cover 360°.  The signal-to-noise ratio for all six directions is calculated and the beam with the best clarity is automatically selected.  Thus providing exceptional speech understanding in group conversations.
